Requirements
* Diploma/ ITI, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering (preferred) or relevant experience in material handling.
* 5+ years of experience in billet yard operations, steel manufacturing, or a related field.
* Knowledge of material handling equipment, inventory management, and safety regulations.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills.
* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
* Proficiency in MS Office and inventory tracking software.
* Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency requirements.

Job Description :
* Supervise and manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of billets in the yard.
* Ensure proper stacking and identification of billets to prevent mix-ups.
* Coordinate with the production and logistics teams for smooth material flow.
* Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
* Implement safety measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Inspect billets for defects and report any quality issues to the department concerned.
* Optimize space utilization in the yard to improve efficiency.
* Train and guide yard workers on proper handling procedures.
* Ensure timely loading and unloading of billets to avoid production delays.
* Maintain records and generate reports on material movement and stock status.
