Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
* 2-4 years of experience in quality control or chemical testing in the steel, metallurgy, or manufacturing industry.
* Strong knowledge of the chemical processes in steel production, including alloy composition, carbon content, and other metallurgical properties.
* Proficient in using laboratory instruments such as spectrometers, hardness testers, and chemical analyzers.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret and act on chemical test results.
* Familiarity with quality standards and industry regulations in steel manufacturing.
* Good communication skills for reporting test results and collaborating with production teams.
* Proficiency in MS Office and quality control software for documentation and data management.

Job Description :
* Conduct chemical analysis on raw materials (scrap, billets, alloys) to ensure they meet required specifications before production.
* Perform in-process testing on TMT bars and intermediate products to ensure they meet chemical, mechanical, and quality specifications.
* Analyze the chemical composition of steel products, including carbon content, hardness, and tensile strength, ensuring they conform to company and industry standards.
* Work closely with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any quality-related issues identified through testing.
* Maintain, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment such as spectrometers, hardness testers, and titration systems.
* Prepare and maintain accurate records of chemical tests and product quality reports, ensuring compliance with internal quality control procedures.
* Assist in the development and implementation of quality control plans and testing methodologies to improve product quality and reduce defects.
* Monitor the quality of chemicals and additives used in the production process to ensure consistency and quality.
* Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
* Assist in regulatory compliance and quality certifications related to industry standards.
